The Presentation

For those who may recognize the pseudoscience known as “alchemy,” the term typically conjures up images of hooded wizards who make elixirs that can transmute lead into gold, not to mention impart immortality! Although the origins of alchemy can be traced back to the ancients, the Medieval Period is renowned for a cast of alchemists who sought riches, fame and life everlasting. Although far from being classified a thesis on alchemy, I developed this five-minute presentation with the hope of wetting your appetite to want to learn more! So please enjoy this slidecast as it whisks you from ancient times to the middle ages accompanied by the euphoric melodies of the period.
